High Blood Pressure
The Food and Drug Administration is considering making some common prescription medicines non-prescription. These would include drugs for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, certain infections, migraines, asthma and allergies.
It is the scourge of our existence, causing runny noses, lots of coughing, sore throats and yet the common cold remains without a cure.
They may seem like nothing, but those little signs your body sends you every now and then could be a warning sign of something bigger and more serious. KDKA’s health editor Dr. Maria Simbra takes a look at five symptoms that women should never overlook.
Researchers looked at more than 14,000 people between ages 24 and 32 and found that one in five had elevated blood pressure. Only half had ever been told.
