Barges Break Loose Overnight On Mon River
Several bridges have been inspected and reopened, but the Coast Guard and River Rescue crews continue work today to clear the navigational channel on the Monongahela River after three barges broke loose on the water overnight.
Plan To Grade Local Restaurants Scrapped
While the Allegheny County Health Department wanted to grade restaurants according to how clean and sanitary they are, the county board of health has reversed itself and rejected the grading system.
PennDOT Inspecting Bridges After Earthquake
PennDOT crews have been inspecting local bridges after tremors from an earthquake in Virginia were felt around the area Tuesday afternoon.
