As you get ready for the Pittsburgh Power’s first-ever road game, here’s a look at what’s been happening around the AFL in Weeks 2 and 3 of the 2011 season.
While their inaugural season got off on the wrong foot, the Pittsburgh Power got their first win Saturday night. In front of a crowd of more than 9,000 fans, the Power (1-1) blew out the Iowa Barnstormers 58-28 (0-1).
The new kids on the block served notice that they won’t be bullied so easily, and now it’s up to the Power, in their second home game, to show that their valiant effort in the lid-lifter was not an accident.
