County Elections Board Votes To Pursue Voter ID Lawsuit

By a 2-to-1 partisan vote, the Allegheny County Board of Elections authorized the county solicitor to file a lawsuit to stop the state’s new voter photo identification law.

Allegheny County To File Lawsuit Over Voter ID Law

Led by Allegheny County councilman John DeFazio who chairs the County Elections Board, that board is expected to file a lawsuit to block the state’s new voter photo ID law.
