Mother Nature is creating some unexpected headaches for PennDOT. Crews are gearing up to repair a record number of landslides in Allegheny, Beaver and Lawrence Counties.
A road closed by a landslide in Allegheny County is now back open.
Several roads around the area continue to be impacted by the weather-related landslides that happened earlier this week.
A portion of the West Busway remains closed this morning and is expected to stay closed for the weekend after a landslide nearly doubled in size there overnight.
The landslide on the West Busway doubled in size Thursday night when another section ground came crashing down and that slide is far from the only one in our area.
