Amber Alert Never Issued For Baby Abducted From Magee-Womens Hospital

For more than 15 years, citizens and local media have help law enforcement find the victims of child abduction through something called the Amber Alert. Thursday, that system was never utilized in the abduction of Bryce Coleman from Magee Women’s Hospital.

Adam Kirk and his wife Kristin just had a baby at Magee Women’s Hospital 10 weeks ago. The baby got two ID bands — one for the wrist, one for the ankle. Mom got an ID band, too.

A woman has been charged with kidnapping a newborn from Magee-Womens Hospital. The three-day-old baby was taken from Magee-Womens Hospital in Oakland Thursday afternoon by 19-year-old Breona Moore who was wearing nursing scrubs.
