Former Daycare Worker Sentenced In Child Molestation Cases
A former teacher at a childcare facility in Scott Township was sentenced Monday for child molestation. Matthew Byars, 26, will spend at least the next 35 years behind bars and he could be there for as long as 70 years.

A former daycare worker will stand trial to face allegations that he molested nearly a dozen young boys. Matthew Byars, 26, of Pittsburgh’s North Side waived his right to a preliminary hearing in court this morning.
