Pennsylvania’s attorney general says Gov. Tom Wolf’s death penalty moratorium is blatantly unconstitutional and wants the state Supreme Court to clear the way for the state’s first execution since 1999.
Newly elected Gov. Tom Wolf imposed a moratorium on the death penalty in the state Friday, calling the current system of capital punishment “error prone, expensive and anything but infallible.”
