The campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Oakland is quiet now that most students have left for the holiday break. But not before there was trouble in the early morning hours of Wednesday just blocks from campus.
Employees are shaken up after a robbery at a local Pizza Hut. It happened on Baum Boulevard at about 6 p.m. Monday. A man walked in, showed his gun and demanded money from the cash register.
Zone 4 Police say the robbery happened at Fidelity Bank at the intersection of Centre Avenue and Morewood Avenue.
