Delta Adds Flights From Pittsburgh To New York

With a little accordion music and a few balloons, Delta Airlines promoted its latest expansion in the Pittsburgh market. About 51 passengers were on the inaugural flight leaving Gate D-78 on Wednesday, a flight that was greeted with water cannon as it passed on its way to the runway.

Man Charged With Threatening Pitt Professors

A man from New York State has been arrested for allegedly sending threatening emails to four current or retired University of Pittsburgh professors. Mark Lee Krangle, 65, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, was arrested as soon as he stepped off a plane at Pittsburgh International Airport.
