Police increased their presence on Pittsburgh’s South Side Friday night as part of the city’s plan to cut down on petty crime and chaos in a neighborhood that’s known for late-night partying.
It’s often considered the nightlife hub of Pittsburgh, but the South Side is plagued by problems at night. Now though, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl has laid out a plan to restore safety for business owners and residents.
