A Westmoreland County man died in a vehicle fire in Plum late Friday night. According to the Allegheny County Coroner, the incident happened in a vacant lot near the Veltri’s Restaurant building on Cox Comb Hill Road around 11:30 p.m.

Storms, Lightning Cause Damage In Plum

Two homes in Plum were damaged Thursday evening as the latest round of severe weather rolled through the area. According to Allegheny County emergency dispatchers, there were lightning strikes all over the county, including in North Fayette, Robinson, Plum and Forward Township.
