A huge crowd took part in this year’s Polar Bear Plunge Tuesday morning. Hundreds of people headed to the Mon Wharf to brave the chilly temperatures and jump in the river.
More than 1,000 people took to the Ohio River to raise money for the Special Olympics Sunday.
Rob Pratte talked to Sgt. Schubert from the Pittsburgh police, Cmdr. Donna Best from the Allegheny County Sheriffs Department and Kraig Makohus from the Special Olympics to talk about The Special Olympics Polar plunge.
Nearly 1,100 people took a plunge in the Allegheny River for a good cause Sunday.
