Occupy Pittsburgh Events To Close Local Roads

The Occupy Pittsburgh demonstration is set to flood the streets this Saturday, and that means there will be some closures to contend with in the city. Crowds will be gathering at three locations including Freedom Corner, the City County Building and Market Square.

Demonstrators Rally In Support Of Film Tax Credit

A big rally was held Friday in front of Gov. Tom Corbett’s office in downtown Pittsburgh. Demonstrators are hoping that the governor will keep a special tax incentive in his budget. They say that incentive means jobs in Pittsburgh. Next Tuesday, Gov. Corbett will present his budget to the legislature, and many who support movie-making in Pennsylvania are afraid the he will cut the film tax credit.
