Deputy Pittsburgh Police Chief Paul Donaldson sent out a memo Thursday telling officers that the department would conduct a study on the “reliability and suitability” of city-issued ammunition used by officers in their service revolvers.
Pittsburgh’s Independent Citizen Police Review Board is set to meet this evening. They are expected to discuss two recent incidents involving police officers’ actions that are being reviewed.
