The timing was coincidental, but the federal advisory committee on developing a permanent memorial for Flight 93 met in Shanksville on Saturday. While relatives of the Flight 93 victims reviewed the progress on the memorial, the talk turned to the killing of Osama bin Laden.
The temporary memorial at the Flight 93 crash site stayed open a half hour later than normal Monday night to accommodate people who wanted to visit after getting off work.
