With some snow in the forecast, crews were out pre-treating the roads Sunday evening with salt and gravel. But for some residents, the damage was already done when this afternoon’s high winds knocked down power lines. Many were left without electricity as temperatures plummeted.

Elderly Couple Rescued After Falling Down Hillside

An elderly couple in Washington County had to be rescued after their son found them over a hillside behind their home. It’s possible the Ed Petrisek, 95, and his wife, Betty, 93, spent the night there.
