Police are still investigating after two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday. KDKA-TV’s Andy Sheehan ran the Boston Marathon and finished minutes before the explosions went off.
Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick says no unexploded bombs were found at the Boston Marathon. He says the only explosives were the ones that went off Monday.
According to the Boston Marathon, there are more than 50 people from Pittsburgh who were signed up to run in the race. One of them was a local med student.
Two bombs exploded in the crowded streets near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, killing three people and injuring more than 130 in a bloody scene of shattered glass and severed limbs that raised alarms that terrorists might have struck again in the U.S.
