The man accused of making a threat against a local college campus on Twitter late last week is now in police custody. Michael Mollett turned himself in to a state police detective Sunday evening just outside of the KDKA-TV studios – in the lobby of One Gateway Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.
After a two-day shutdown at Penn State Beaver, school officials say the campus has been reopened and classes are set to resume on Monday.
All classes and activities on the campus of Penn State Beaver were canceled today as authorities continue to investigate a possible threat that referenced the Virginia Tech shootings. Campus spokesperson Amy Krebs said the school received the possible threat on Twitter Thursday night.
