Wood Street Galleries
Take a break from your traditional weekend haunts and dive into the world of art appreciation straight through the artists’ lens at one of Pittsburgh’s finest exhibits — or visit them all.
Downtown is home to many fantastic art galleries and four times a year, those galleries open their doors for free for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Gallery Crawl.
I am looking forward to touring the cultural landscape in Pittsburgh next month. From the cozy reading room at the Carnegie Library to the stages of the Cultural District, our purveyors of the arts are populating that landscape with local talent and national touring groups.
Are you new to the Pittsburgh area, or a native looking for a new form of entertainment? The Downtown area is home to the Cultural District, a 14-square block collection of theaters and galleries.
