Victim In Overnight Hill District Fatal Fire Identified
Two people were able to escape to safety, but an overnight fire claimed one man’s life in Pittsburgh’s Hill District.

Man Dies After Hill District Shooting
A man who was apparently shot three times in the Hill District has died. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 36-year-old Dwayne Threet, of Pittsburgh.
1 Injured In Hill District Shooting
At least one person was shot this afternoon in the Hill District. The shooting happened outside of an apartment building at the corner of Wylie Avenue and Watt Street.
Worker Electrocuted In Washington County
A worker in a utility truck apparently struck a live power line with a chainsaw.
