The Improv is essentially a comedy institution. One suggestion to keep in mind: sign up on their email mailing list and you'll find you have a pretty good chance to pick up occasional free or discounted tickets to gigs. Some are soured by the prices of the two item (drinks or food) minimum, since they knock the quality of the fare. But who goes to a comedy club to eat? You're there for the laughs, so enjoy the show.

The Funny Bone has been up and running since 1982. On weekends, it's $15 per person plus a 2 drink minimum. It has moved to a location in the Radisson Greentree, where for $39.95 you can get dinner and a ticket to the show (drinks, tax, tip excluded).
