Best Paintball Arenas Around Pittsburgh

Paintball is catching on with groups of all ages and is certainly on the rise here in western Pennsylvania. There are several places to play and here's a list of a few that were recommended to us!

"Definitely the best value course"; that's how one KDKA staff member described Riverside Renegades.  "You get the most equipment, ammo and playing time for the money."  On weekends, the $45 "Renegade Package" will get patrons all of the following: a semi-automatic paintball gun, full face mask, unlimited all day air / CO2, 500 Paintballs, free water and a catered lunch of fried chicken, a ring sandwich, coleslaw, potato salad, linguine salad & rolls)!

Three Rivers Paintball features an 80-acre facility that is roped off into several different fields. They are open to the public on the weekends and offer a variety of packages to accommodate all players.  If you have your own equipment it's just $15 to get in. If you need to rent equipment, they have everything you need!  Three Rivers Paintball also hosts scenario events once a month during their peak season and is the largest and longest running paintball field in western Pennsylvania.

According to its website, Urban Assault's indoor facility is 30,000 square feet that includes black lights, music, catwalks and barricades.  Outdoor facilities are also available.  They feature different terrains that include naturally wooded fields to what they call their "Fields of Fury."  From yearly passes to individual session rates, Urban Assault truly has something for everybody.

Pentagon Paintball offers some of the best deals around.  According to the owner, Sean Parker, all Sundays are free after your first visit each year. On select unannounced Sundays Parker will break out the barbecue and hand out free food!   There are seven fields at the 14-acre facility and $30 covers you for the entire day whether you have equipment or not. They are open year-round five-days a week and offer games for all skill levels.
