This local chain restaurant is a crowd favorite. Their extensive list of desserts has something for everybody. One surefire hit is the Frownie – a brownie with a frown drawn on it. Trying to feed a big crowd? Go for The Angry Mob, which is several scoops of ice cream topped with several Frownies, whipped cream and a cherry on top. One KDKA staffer says, “King’s apple pie with cinnamon ice cream takes me back to my childhood.” Another adds, “Growing up, King’s was always my family’s favorite spot for dessert… The sundaes were always huge and delicious!”
