From pizza to funnel cakes, the Three River Arts Festival offers all kinds of foods, but what does the local crowd think? We have the low-down on the food and drinks of the festival from the people themselves.
If you’re fancying some Asian cuisine, like festival-goer Denise was, then chicken-on-a-stick sided with some teriyaki is the perfect choice for you. She said that she tried it out one year and has loved it ever since. She gets it at every festival that offers it.
It’s hard to resist the traditional taste of funnel cakes, and festival-goer Jack O’Toole is one of those people. He says he gets it every year at Arts Fest and that it’s a tradition. It also gives him a good excuse to come down to the festival!
In a unique combination of the conventional hamburger and sea food, the Arts Festival offers the Lobster Burger. It has delicious lobster meat in the mix to give your taste buds a whole new way to experience a burger! Festival-goer John Arca says he gets one every year and that they’re “just plain good!”
Traditional Festival Foods
What would a festival be without pizza? The Arts Festival offers delicious fresh out-of-the-oven pizzas, with your choice of pepperoni, plain and more! Festival-goer Justin Baker says that even though it is his first time at the festival, he loves pizza and it looked too good to pass up! Another festival favorite seemed to be none other than the corn dog! With a variety of condiments to top them, it was hard for Melanie Ventrice to refuse one! It is her first year attending the festival, but with all the art to see and music performances, she wanted something tasty and easy to eat… a corn dog, perfect!
Want a good-tasting and easy-to-eat snack? The chocolate-covered strawberries are a hit at the Arts Festival, drenched in scrumptious milk chocolate. Festival-goer Kristen Eifert is a major fan of this snack and suggests it to anyone!
If your looking for a cold and refreshing drink to wash down all the good food from the festival, lemonade is the way to go. Festival-goer Roberta Miller gets lemonade every year she comes to Arts Festival. She says it’s tasty, not too sweet and it’s perfect on a hot, sunny day!
