We have a group of great Pittsburgh sport's leagues that will provide the perfect environment for a weekend warrior or someone simply looking to stay active and meet new friends.

The Greater Pittsburgh Road Runners Club has encouraged and promoted the sport of running for people of all ages and abilities in the Pittsburgh area. Health, fitness, fun and adventure are the primary goals of the club. Monthly road/trail distance runs that range from ultra-marathons to one mile are scheduled throughout the Pittsburgh area.

Adventure seekers search no further, Pittsburgh's Explorers Club members will take it to the next level with mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing, scuba diving, canoeing, kayaking, caving, cycling, backpacking, environmental and community service projects, and a host of outdoor sports. The club meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:30pm within the Phipps Conservancy.

Steel City Curb and Trail Society

One of Pittsburgh's more popular walking/hiking groups is the Steel City Curb and Trail Society. This group is perfect for those looking to enjoy the outdoors right here in our town. With 5 major city parks, rolling hills, grand vistas and the city sights & sounds within a 5 mile radius, its hard not to find what your looking for in the 'burgh. The trips are normally 3-5 miles and can be done at an easy to moderate pace.
