Plum Murder Suspect Held For Trial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two local defendants in City Court were held for trial.

Jordan Just, 28, will stand trial for shooting and killing his 26-year-old live-in girlfriend Nancy Schaab.

It happened in Plum Boro last month on Millers Lane.

A single gun shot wound to the chest killed Schaab. Just also had stab wounds.

Prosecutor Mark Tranquilli says Just may use self defense in this case.

In a separate case, the court tried to determine if it was an instance of two immigrants from Laos not understanding American laws or if it was child endangerment?

Their attorney says it was just a mistake.

Lounla Xayathep, 54, and Phayvonh Peaungvongpakdy, 38, left their two children in their van in the parking garage at the Rivers Casino while they went to gamble.

Casino video shows the 10-year-old and 10-month-old were left for almost an hour.

The case was held for court.
