Man Injured In Hill District Shooting
HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) - A man was injured in an early Wednesday morning shooting in the Hill District.
According to police, the shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. near the Flamingo Hotel in the 2400-block of Wiley Avenue.
A man was shot in the lip and was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
A vehicle was found near the shooting scene with bullet holes and blood inside.
The initial call to police came from a woman who said someone had hit her car. She told police that the man slowed down and told her he had been shot and proceeded to keep driving.
The victim's identity has not been released and there is no word on what led to the shooting at this time.
