3 Dead After Accident In Somerset County

SHADE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Three people, including a pregnant woman and child, were killed in a crash in Somerset County Sunday afternoon.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 28-year-old Holly Allison, was driving a minivan along Route 30 in Shade Township when she lost control.

The vehicle went off the roadway. The Post-Gazette reports that Allison and a 26-year-old Bedford County woman, identified as Cory Brown, were ejected.

The women died at the scene.

Authorities tell the Post-Gazette that two men and two children were also riding in the van. They were all taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Officials say a 1-year-old child died at the hospital.

Allison, 28, was pregnant, but the coroner was unsure how far along she was, the PG also reports.
