Oakland Raider Richard Seymour Fined $25,000 For Hit On Big Ben

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) -- The player who punched Ben Roethlisberger is going to have to pay up.

Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Richard Seymour was fined $25,000 for unnecessary roughness.

The hit happened in the second quarter after the Steelers made it 21-3. Roethlisberger ran up behind Seymour while celebrating a touchdown pass. That's when Seymour turned and hit him in the helmet.

Seymour is also possibly facing suspension because it was his third on-field incident within the last two seasons.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
