Most Wanted Suspect Arrested In Beechview

BEECHVIEW (KDKA) - For the second straight day, Allegheny County sheriff's deputies have captured one of their most wanted suspects.

According to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, Jeff Ledonne, 30, of Stowe Township, was wanted for violating his parole from a 2009 sexual assault conviction.

He was originally charged with statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and aggravated indecent assault on a person less than 16-years-old.

He pleaded nolo contendere to the statutory sexual assault charge and the other charges were withdrawn.

At the time of the incident in March of 2009, Ledonne was 28-years-old and the victim was only 14-years-old.

He spent about one year in the Allegheny County Jail and was released in March of 2010. The violation of his parole came as a result of failing to show up for court on misdemeanor motor vehicle violations.

Deputies received a tip that Ledonne was staying at a home in the 2100-block of Methyl Street in Beechview.

After entering the home, the deputies found Ledonne in a bathroom and arrested him without incident.

He is currently being lodged in the Allegheny County Jail without bond.
