Reckless Parkway East Driver Leads Police On Chase

MONROEVILLE (KDKA) -- Charges are pending against the driver of a pickup truck who led authorities on a wild chase Friday morning.

It started when a State Trooper spotted a 1998 Grey Ford pickup truck driven by Jamison Gasior, 37, of Pittsburgh, speeding on the Parkway East outbound near the Bates Street exit shortly after 9 a.m.

Gaisor weaved in and out of traffic on the Parkway before exiting onto Route 22, making a left onto Old William Penn Highway and eventually hitting a building on CCAC's Boyce Campus.

By this point, police shot out two of his tires.

After hitting the building, Gaisor then left the campus and took Beatty Road where he stopped near a Turnpike overpass.

State police, Monroeville police and an Allegheny County Sheriff's unit were all involved in the pursuit.

Gasior is facing a long list of charges, including 10 counts of aggravated assault and six counts of criminal mischief.

Stay with KDKA for the latest developments.
