Steelers' Clark Recaps Win, Looks Ahead To Jets

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Steelers safety Ryan Clark joined the Fan Morning Show live in studio to recap the win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Clark starts off the interview by telling the guys how much fun he had at the Justin Bieber concert Monday night.

The Bengals started Sunday's game off with a scoring drive. According to Clark, the Steelers' defense didn't allow a touchdown after that because they stopped getting flagged for penalties.

The Steelers' offense didn't score a touchdown in the game against the Bengals and that is a concern for a lot of people.

However, Clark says he is not concerned for two reasons. One, he is much more worried about not allowing touchdown to their opponents. Second, the offense is moving the ball well between the 20s. He said they just need to finish.

Clark also said that he is no longer wowed by Troy Polamalu. Instead, he has come to expect those "routine" plays out him, referring to the two interceptions.

He and his teammates have a great respect for Polamalu's ability on the field and knows the team needs him healthy for a long playoff run.

The Steelers' welcome in former teammate and now New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes this Sunday for a big AFC match-up. Clark knows Holmes will bring his best game on Sunday and will treat him like any other opponent when they line up against on the field.

It was reported after the game that coach Mike Tomlin was upset, but no one has been able to figure out why. Clark has some suggestions, but said that his coach and everyone should be used to it by now.
