New Pitt Football Head Coach Todd Graham Live On The FAN

New Pitt Football Head Coach Todd Graham joined the Seibel and Starkey Show on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN following his press conference to discuss what he's looking to accomplish at Pitt.

Graham said if you told him two weeks ago that he'd be the head coach at Pitt he would have been surprised and that leaving Tulsa was one of the hardest things for him to do given the ties and connections he established there.

Coach Graham talked with the guys about his work ethic and passion that he'll put forth to win over his players and the fans given all the uncertainty that they have been through lately.

Graham discussed the players that he has in front of him to play quarterback next year and said he obviously has seen the most of Tino Sunseri and considers him a winner and that his coaching staff will first and foremost adapt their system to the QB they have available to them.

Coach also said this is Pittsburgh, and that means you have to run the ball and play tough football, and what he's bringing is the no-huddle offense to add to that, not the spread offense.

There are three highly touted underclassmen from Pitt that have declared themselves eligible for the NFL draft in WR Jon Baldwin, RB Dion Lewis, and FB Henry Hynoski, and Coach Graham said he's hoping for an opportunity to talk with the three of them to try and convince them to stay because each player would be a great fit in his offense.
