5 Armed Robberies Reported In Regent Square Area
REGENT SQUARE (KDKA) -- Five armed robberies this week in the Regent Square area have residents and business owners concerned.
The area where the robberies happened covers four jurisdictions – Pittsburgh, Wilkinsburg, Edgewood and Swissvale.
Police in all four areas say they're stepping up patrols.
The robberies have been in residential areas – several blocks from the business district. Those are areas where customers and workers have to park and walk.
Police believe two men may be working together. There's no detailed description, but they may be driving a small white car.
