Perry South Fatal Stabbing Suspect Arrested

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Police have arrested a man after a fatal stabbing in Pittsburgh's Perry South neighborhood Saturday evening.

According to police, officers were called to the 1900-block of Lithgow Street for a domestic dispute around 8:45 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old male on the floor of a second-floor room suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

The victim was transported to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The suspect, 55-year-old Calvin Tucker, had fled the scene and officers found him walking along Clayton Street.

At that time, he was detained and taken to police headquarters for questioning.

Tucker was then arrested and is facing one count of criminal homicide.

The victim's name has not been released at this time.
