Joe Namath Previews The Jets' Chances

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Hall of Famer Joe Namath called into the FAN Morning Show to preview the Jets chances against the Steelers.

The former Jets quarterback and Beaver Falls native said he has a feeling that something special is happening with his former team. Namath said the Jets are playing great football, but they "will need to play their best" on Sunday to beat the Steelers.

Talking about the impact that Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has on the opposing quarterback, Namath says Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez will need to have luck on his side.

Calling Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a "tough guy" who never quits on a play, the former New York Jet said he would take Big Ben on his team if he could.

Namath went on to say that he doesn't think he would be the same player today with all the gossip websites and social media.
