Steelers LB Timmons Talks Run To Super Bowl XLV

Lawrence Timmons joined Seibel and Starkey with former Steeler Josh Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about how gratifying this year has been for him.  A lot of people have said that nobody has improved more from last year than Timmons and he talked about what the difference has been from last year to this year.

Timmons' position coach Keith Butler is rumored to be the Steelers defensive coordinator in the waiting behind current defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau and Lawrence talked about what kind of coordinator his coach would make and everything he has done for him personally in order to become the impact player that he currently is.

Timmons plays alongside fellow middle linebacker James Farrior who has had a big bounce back year and Lawrence explained why by saying the defensive line is responsible for just about all of their success and credits a lot of that to Ziggy Hood who has stepped in for injured starter Aaron Smith.

The All-Pro team list came out Monday and when asked if it bothers him that he didn't make that team, Timmons said he's in the Super Bowl so it doesn't bother him too much.
