Another Round Of Snow Expected For W. Pa.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The snow has moved out of the area for the evening, but there could be more on the way before the week is out.

Wednesday afternoon, accumulating snow hit Westmoreland, Greene, Fayette and parts of Washington County.

KDKA Chief Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla predicts two clippers will come through parts of the area late Thursday and Friday.

"The first one will come through the area [Thursday] night and early, early in the day on Friday," he said. "In the morning and the afternoon it's going to move away so most of the day on Friday it'll be not much going on, but the second clipper-type disturbance will come through Friday night and carry over to Saturday morning."

Verszyla expects each disturbance to drop an inch or two of snow. The clippers will be about 24 hours apart.
