Steelers All-Time Leading Rusher Franco Harris Previews Super Bowl XLV

Former Steelers RB Franco Harris talked with Seibel and Starkey on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN about the Steelers and Packers squaring off in Super Bowl XLV.

Franco discussed current Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall and how he has had a great year and playoff run despite playing behind a patchwork offensive line.  Franco also thinks Mendenhall will be one of if not the most important players in the Super Bowl.

When asked about this season as a whole, Franco described it in one word as "incredible," saying the come back against the Ravens and holding onto the lead against the Jets is what it's all about this time of year.

While discussing Ben Roethlisberger's play, Franco was asked to pick between Ben and his quarterback Terry Bradshaw.  Franco said as in all cases like this, he goes with the guy from his era and picked Bradshaw.

Franco also weighed in on whether or not the Steelers recent run of three Super Bowl appearances in six years is equal to the run of four Super Bowl appearances in six years that his teams went to.
