Robert Morris Extends Winning Streak To Four Games
HACKENSACK, N.J. (KDKA/AP) - Robert Morris extended their winning streak to four games with a 74-50 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday night.
The Colonials (13-13, 9-6) were led by Lijah Thompson and Karon Abraham. Thompson scored 16 points and added seven rebounds, four blocks and three steals. Abraham scored 12 points.
Robert Morris led 28-18 at halftime, despite shooting 9 of 26 from the floor (34.6 percent).
In the second half, Robert Morris continued to lead by 13 with 8:30 left, before they went on a 11-2 run. The Colonials scored 46 points in second half, including 5 of 6 from 3-point land.
Robert Morris outscored the Knights 34-18 in the paint and forced 17 turnovers.
The Colonials will go on the road to face the (9-18) Monmouth Hawks this Saturday with tip-off at 7 p.m.
