3 Facing Charges After Local Raids

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Three people were arrested Tuesday evening after authorities say they discovered drugs, money and weapons while serving search warrants in the Hill District.

Pittsburgh police say 18-year-old Ebony Green and 25-year-old Bryan Hill are both facing drug charges. Also, 46-year-old Brock Massey is facing firearms charges.

Police took Green into custody after serving the first search warrant just before 5 p.m. in the 100-block of Reed and Roberts Streets.

According to investigators, police recovered $3,000, crack cocaine, marijuana, a cell phone and other drug paraphernalia there.

Authorities arrested Hill after serving a search warrant just after 7:30 p.m. in the 2000-block of Bedford Avenue.

Police say they found more than $100, cell phones, marijuana and Ecstasy during the raid at that residence.

Both Green and Hill are facing possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Massey was taken into custody after a search warrant was served in the 200-block of Watson Street in the Uptown section of the city just after 6 p.m.

Police recovered two guns and surveillance equipment there. Authorities say one of the guns was stolen from Penn Hills.

All three were all taken to the Allegheny County Jail and were scheduled to be arraigned overnight.
