Beaver Co. Man Convicted In Shooting Sentenced

BEAVER (KDKA) -- A Beaver County man who was convicted earlier this year in a shooting that injured his wife and left her friend dead was sentenced.

Greg Baker, 57, was charged in the shooting death of 48-year-old Thomas Dougherty.

Baker's ex-wife, Linda Baker, was also wounded in the December 2009 shooting in an East Rochester shopping plaza parking lot.

The trial started back in February.

A jury found Baker guilty of third-degree murder and aggravated assault on Feb. 16.

The judge ordered Baker to spend 30 to 60 years in prison.
