Officials Plan Pens Rally, Big Screen Returns

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh is gearing up for the playoffs.

The city and county, along with the Penguins have planned a noon playoff rally on Wednesday to pump up the fans for the series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Officials have also declared Wednesday "Black & Gold Day." They're also asking fans at the rally to bring a donation that will benefit the Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

Meantime, the Pens are calling for a "white out" for Game 1 at CONSOL Energy Center.

And the famous big screen for people who don't have tickets will be set up in the parking lot at the Civic Arena.
