Alleged Unruly Pirates Fan Released From Jail

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A Pirates fan whose arrest by two Pittsburgh police officers at PNC Park was recorded and posted on YouTube is out of jail.

Scott Ashley, 41, walked out of the Allegheny County Jail around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday and was wearing the same clothes he had on in the video.

KDKA's Jon Greiner says that while he wouldn't talk about the incident, he does have bruises on his back and on his legs.

Ashley says he hasn't seen the video, but heard about it from other inmates.

"I'm nervous right now a little bit, you know," he told reporters. "All I got to say is 'Go Bucs.' Hey, did they win? I didn't get a chance to see the news. Did they win that night?"

Reporter: "No."

Ashley: "Awww man. But, no, I'd really like to go though. Thanks guys."

He is facing charges, including public drunkenness and resisting arrest. Ashley was bailed out by an anonymous patron who put up 5 percent of his $5,000 cash bond.

Pittsburgh police are reviewing the incident.
