Car Crashes Into West End House After Chase
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 4-month-old baby was in the backseat of a car that led police on a chase through the West End Monday afternoon.
KDKA's Lynne Hayes-Freeland reports the suspect, from West Virginia, allegedly made a drug buy before undercover cops pursued him.
During the pursuit, the suspect wrecked the car and crashed into a house near the intersection of Steuben and Wabash Streets. The house didn't sustain much damage.
The male driver was injured and taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
The two women were also inside the car. They weren't hurt. Police let them go and they will not face charges.
