Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Pirates manager Clint Hurdle is sitting 3B Pedro Alvarez for the final game of the 4-game series vs. Cincinnati.

Hurdle is deciding to sit Alvarez, who's struggling at the plate. He's hitting .193 with no home runs and has five hits and 12 strikeouts in his last 31 at-bats.
