Pirates Starting Lineup

The Pirates will look to get their record over .500 tonight as they take on the Florida Marlins. Does Clint Hurdle have Pedro Alvarez back in the starting lineup?

*The Pirates have now won each of its first three road series to begin a season for the first time since 2002....

*Seven different players (Tabata, Diaz, Pearce, Snyder, Walker, Overbay and Cedeno) had at least 2hits in last night's win, which was the first time the team has accomplished that on the road since May 13, 2004

*This is the first season in which the Pirates have had more than one complete-game win in April since 1992, when they had three (two by Zane Smith and one by Doug Drabek).

*The Pirates have seven road wins this season, didn't record their seventh road win last year until May 15.

*The Pirates are hitting .288 on the road this season, which ranks third in the National League and sixth overall in the Majors.

*The Pirates are also tied for fourth in the Majors with 11 home runs on the road this season

*Neil Walker has collected 18 hits, which is tied for third among all 2nd baseman in the Majors....The only second baseman to produce more hits in the Majors this year is Howie Kendrick of the Angles (19).
