4-1-Zoo: Cleveland Selects Jabaal Sheard

PITTSBURGH — The Cleveland Browns selected Jabaal Sheard with the 37th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Sheard was projected as a possible first rounder, but most said he'd likely fall somewhere in the second round. He'll join Browns' first-round pick, defensive tackle Phil Taylor, on the defensive line in Cleveland.

Sheard finished his 2010 season at Pitt with 52 tackles (34 solo) and nine sacks. He took over as the leader on the defensive line after Greg Romeus missed almost the entire season to multiple injuries.
