Arrest Made In Murder Of Art Institute Student
MCKEES ROCKS (KDKA) -- Police have made an arrest in the murder of an Art Institute student.
Taivon Cunningham, 19, has been charged in the death of Malachi Urbini who was shot in McKees Rocks Sunday morning.
According to the criminal complaint, Urbini and a friend met Cunningham to trade him an iPod for heroin.
Urbini also had an iPad he was willing to trade.
About an hour after the initial meeting, Cunningham called the pair to Third Street in McKees Rocks where Urbini was shot.
He died at the hospital.
The criminal complaint does not identify Cunningham as the shooter. Police say he lured Urbini back to the alley where he was shot.
